Nice photos of the car in "Jaguar an illustrated history of the world's most elegant car" by Roger Hicks, published by Bramley books, appears to be around '89.

In my 35 years as a Classic Jaguar Specialist, I have never seen a survivor like this.
The story is simple but impossible to replicate:
Sold new in 1968. Bought by Peter and his wife in 1969, when the car was just 11 months old.
They specifically chose this 2+2 model so their six-year-old son, David, could travel in the back.
Peter wasn't just a family man; he was a connoisseur. He had already owned an XK120, XK140, XK150, and a ’61 S1 Roadster. He knew his Jaguars.
He kept this specific Series 2 for 48 years before passing it to that same son, David, in 2017.
41, 000 original miles.
Factory paint & original interior.
Supplying dealer’s sticker still in the rear window.
It’s no wonder Jaguar Cars uses this exact vehicle as their reference benchmark, and why it is a multiple-time show winner Museum Grade Collectors Jaguar E-Type.
