Auction description:

Estimate: £40,000 - £50,000
V5 present
Chassis number: 1E50611
Engine size: 4235cc
This is an original UK-market, 4.2-litre Jaguar E-type 2+2 Series 1, recently completed and recommissioned by Bridge Classic Cars after a stalled restoration. The accompanying Heritage Certificate confirms that it was originally finished in cream with black interior, built in November 1966 and despatched in December that year to Henlys London. It was first registered on 3rd March 1967. The V5C indicates only one former keeper, from 1967 to 2007.
The car's history file includes multiple specialist invoices and MoT certificates from over the last decade from specialists such as SNG Barratt and Martin Robey. These include a full service, rear axle removal and brake overhaul, the installation of an easy-bleed kit, overhauled carburettors, new ignition components, rebuilt pedal box assembly, new clutch, new boot carpet, plus various other repairs and cosmetic detailing.
