This 1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III roadster is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in British Racing Green over Biscuit leather, and features include a tan convertible top, a top boot, 15” knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a RetroSound digital stereo, and air conditioning. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2026. This Series III E-Type is now offered by the selling dealer in Florida with service records and an Illinois title.

The car is finished in British Racing Green and features a replacement tan GAHH convertible top, a matching top boot, uncovered headlights with stone guards, US-spec bumpers, and a forward-hinged louvered hood. The hood hinges were repaired in June 2020, and the convertible top snaps were replaced the following July. The selling dealer notes that the hood was possibly repainted under prior ownership.

The 15″ knock-off wheels are secured with safety nuts and mounted with 205/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The Series III E-Type was factory equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The rear radius arms were replaced in August 2021.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Biscuit leather as well as color-coordinated door panels. Interior amenities include a RetroSound Model Two digital stereo, a locking glovebox, and air conditioning. The seat ratchet mechanism was replaced in August 2021.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. An analog clock along with auxiliary gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles, approximately 25 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory equipped with quadruple Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rated at 241 net horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new. A Lumenition ignition coil is fitted. The coolant fan sensor was replaced in October 2018, and an alternator kit was installed in July 2020. The oil and coolant were changed and the chassis and splines were lubricated in May 2024.

The engine block stamp matches the number stamped on the chassis plate.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The differential fluid was flushed in June 2020, and the brake and clutch fluids were changed in May 2024.
