This 1963 Jaguar XKE Series I coupe is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Opalescent Silver Blue over red leather, the car is equipped with enclosed headlights, 15″ wire-spoke wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, fender-mounted side mirrors, triple windshield wipers, and an AM/FM radio. It reportedly remained with the prior owner for 50 years before being acquired by the current owner in 2024, and the engine is said to have since been rebuilt. This XKE Series I coupe is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the current owner in California with a Nevada title in the owner’s name. Paint imperfections are shown up close in the gallery.

The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with 185R15 Coker Classic tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The front calipers and pads are said to have been replaced in August 2026.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in red leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include textured aluminum dash trim, an AM/FM radio, and a heater.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and 6k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are located in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.8-liter inline-six features triple SU carburetors and was factory rated at 265 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine was reportedly rebuilt under current ownership, and work in preparation for the sale involved replacing the generator and crankshaft damper.

Cylinder head stamping R8865-9 and a corresponding number is stamped on the engine block as well as the chassis plate.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Moss four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The car is titled using VIN 887531 prepended with “J63”. The Nevada title lists “Exempt” under the odometer brands section.
