Sold by Paris Motors Legend of Paris in Spring 2026. Abbreviated seller's description below.

www.parismotorslegend.com/1963jaguaretype-e-ots

This desirable E Type 3.8 litre ots has remained in the hands of a collector for over 30 years and has an exceptional history. Delivered new in Paris on 12 June 1963 by the imported and distributor Royal Elysees Delacroix this E Type cabriolet has only ever had two owners before being offered for sale! In the history file is the registration document showing its original registration, 9242NW75. Its second owner acquired it in September 1982 with 63,000 kilometres recorded, it was then registered 2800RN74. The second owner, a Jaguar dealer in Annecy then stated to restore the car in 1994. The restoration is recorded with photos and invoices in a binder.

After restoration it was driven a few kilometres to preserve the mechanics and general condition, and it now has 7,950 kilometres on the odometer. We have driven it and confirm it is in perfect condition. We have carried out an overhaul including replacing the clutch and flywheel. The engine starts easily and oil pressure is good. The Moss 4 speed gearbox changes smoothly, all instrumentation functions. We will replace the four dated tyres before sale. It comes with a cover, user manual, its booklet of Jaguar dealers from the 1960s and its history file.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
