Car on ebay 2/26

www.ebay.com/itm/147132705875

Current bid $10,378, 4 bids 6 days left in auction, reserve not met, seller Rsuss, reserve not met

Seller's description:

I am pleased to offer this gorgeous 1971 Jaguar XKE (E-Type) roadster. This car is presented today by the second owner who has owned the car since 1980 (talk about long term ownership). He is only the second owner since new. Documentation includes the original sales invoice showing a whopping MSRP of $5,977 paid in 1971. The car has been driven 56,000 original miles. VIN # is 2R14439.

This XKE was rotisserie restored in the mid 1990’s and shows absolutely beautifully today. A new interior and full exhaust was installed at that time as well as new floor pan. The mechanicals were rebuilt and restored between 2020 and 2025 at a cost of approx. $30k making this car drive and well as it looks.

This Jag is powered by a 4.2L 6-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in striking red with matching red interior, it’s a showpiece that drives as well as it looks. A true collectible from the golden era of British motoring.

The body is super straight without any dings or ripples at all. No rust to worry about either. While the pictures are very clear, I encourage any interested party to inspect the car personally.
