Sellers description:

1971 Jaguar XKE, 62,000 original miles, 2 owner car sold locally in Portland, Oregon. Original leather seats and carpets are remarkable. Dash is excellent and all the gauges are clear and no chips. The instruments work as they should including lighter and dash lights. Headliner is spotless, Trunk area is well preserved with no stretching of material and has original spare and tools.

The 12 cyl runs smooth and quiet & the 4-speed shifts correctly. Within the last 2 months a whole new clutch assembly was replaced and the car serviced.

All the panels fit like from the factory and all the original stickers are as they should be. The underside of the car has been detailed by the previous owner with the correct exhaust & tips. All the chrome is original and spotless. The windows are all clear and the rubber through out the car is still soft.

Car delivered to MS on July 8,2011. It is a very nice driver. It has a fresh overspray in the original Primrose. Not great, but not bad. This is a nice driver and am happy with it.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
