37 years at Jaguar Cars Ltd, initially on the shop floor where he put his engineering skills to use, then looking after the Jaguar ‘press’ cars, to moving Jaguar Classics from Brown Lane to its present location.

His passion for cars and engineering meant that at the weekends he had his own workshop, which today in retirement, is still a busy hub for all things Jaguar.

This Series 3 V12 FHC was a genuine ‘Barn’ find, without paperwork, but a fully matching numbers car. Since taking ownership in 2015, this V12 E-type has been in the hands of a consummate professional, someone who knows and understands E-types, from assembly to road test.

Manufactured on 9 August 1973 and dispatched to Clark & Lambert of Eastbourne, Sussex, on 7 September 1973, this E-Type retains its original registration OHC 430M. The accompanying Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Production Record Trace Certificate confirms its factory specification, including its original manual gearbox, making it an especially desirable example of the final and most refined E-Type generation.

Today the car is presented in the desirable combination of Signal Red coachwork which is complemented by a black leather interior; a colour scheme that perfectly showcases Malcolm Sayer’s iconic design.
