Rare and striking colour combination

Meticulously maintained since the restoration

This original right hand drive 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster with an automatic gearbox was supplied new by Henleys in London. We believe it was shipped overseas and didn’t return to the UK until 1991 when it was registered with the DVLA. The car underwent a complete restoration at that time changing the colour from blue to British Racing Green, replacing the interior with biscuit leather and fitting a manual gearbox. Purchased by the current owner in 2005, who during in his ownership has fitted a Nardi steering wheel, new chrome wire wheels with new tyres, a new exhaust system and a new green Mohair soft top roof. To look at the car it is hard to believe that the restoration was done over thirty years ago, it looks as fresh as it did when it was first done. This Jaguar E-Type is supplied with a V5 registration document and a file of paperwork going back to 1991. An attractive purchase for any collector. Consigned by John Tomlin

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
