This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the final Series 1 Jaguar E-Types (XKE), manufactured in 1967 and equipped with the desirable 4.2-liter engine. The vehicle is complete and was imported from the United States, carrying a clean Texas title. It has been fully cleared through EU customs via the Port of Rotterdam, with all import duties paid for EU. The car is now located in Porto, Portugal, at Good Old Times, where a restoration was originally planned.
While I am unable to complete the restoration myself, this vehicle represents a solid investment for any enthusiast or professional restorer. The engine is not matching number, but I am including a second engine block that came with the purchase.
The car is complete. You will require typical mechanics, sheet metal work, and I would recommend replacing the floor pan and sills - nothing unusual for a project of this nature. I can provide detailed photos and am happy to connect you with reputable restoration specialists and parts suppliers familiar with E-Types.
This is my second Jaguar project, and I can confidently say this Series 1 offers tremendous potential for the right buyer. The vehicle is also available for in-person inspection in Porto.
