Heritage Certificate available
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate for this E-Type specifies that it was built with left-hand drive and delivered new to Fredlunds Automobil in Stockholm, Sweden.
The car was a private export delivery and as such was registered in the United Kingdom (under number HWK 415D) just before its delivery on July 18, 1966.
Restored in 2015, the project was entrusted to a team of professionals specializing in vehicle restoration. This company was tasked with returning the E-Type to pristine original condition, with no compromises in the pursuit of perfection. The bodywork was sandblasted and completely refurbished, then repainted in British Racing Green and reupholstered in tan leather.
All essential components were reconditioned to original or better standards, while parts such as interior trim, anchor points, the cylinder head gasket, wiring, bearings, etc., were replaced with new parts supplied by specialist firms in the UK or Germany.
Seat belts and headrests were added, along with a stainless steel exhaust system.
The engine underwent a complete overhaul, including the installation of new crankshaft bearings.
The restoration was completed in spring 2015.
