• Genuine UK-supplied right hand drive example
• Excellent colour combination
This Series I E-Type Fixedhead Coupé is an early 4.2 litre, original UK right hand drive example. Finished in fabulous Opalescent Green, and complemented by an achingly beautiful tan leather interior, it was the 18th right hand drive coupé of 1,583 manufactured, confirmed by its Jaguar Heritage Certificate, supplied with the car. With a mere five owners in 62 years, it presents in very good order throughout, and we are advised it drives well with no known faults. Overall, this is a fabulous example of Jaguar’s most famous model, in arguably its best specification and a terrific colour combination. While many Series I cars have arguably been over-restored in recent years – with hefty estimates reflecting this - this car offers the opportunity to own a well-maintained, low-ownership E-Type at a very sensible estimate, and would complement any collection – and of course, every collection needs an E-Type.
