This car has NOT been scrapped. It is currently for sale at Beverly Hills Motor Club - here: www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1967-jaguar-xke-series-i-roadster-c-18794.htm
This car was part of a 2-car collection that came out of a collapsed building in Manheim, Pennsylvania. I purchased what was left of the other car in April 2026 and that came with some additional engine parts - one of which is the ORIGINAL HEAD to this car. It has to be based on the number, which is 7E9607-9. I am guessing that this car still has the original block in it based on the photos, etc. - but the head has obviously been replaced.
So if someone is restoring this car and would like to go back to matching numbers, I have the head on the shelf at Monocoque Metalworks in Maryland, USA. - Chuck Hadley
