Note, if the VIN provided is correct this is not a '61 car as stated. In fact they state it's a 4.2L car which means its is 1965 or later. This car was likely built in February 1966

Nout Classic Cars
In 2010, we were entrusted in finding a Series 1 E-Type OTS for the current owner. In 2011, we found a perfect candidate at Lex Classics that more than met all expectations! Just look at the color—Westminster Blue—which at the time was paired with black leather and came complete with a silver-gray hardtop. The car came from the collection of a Dutch collector and had been registered in the Netherlands for quite some time. Originally from America, it was imported into the Netherlands in 1995. According to the Michigan title, the last known owner in America was Mr. Henry H. Ford of Detroit.
The car was first registered in the Netherlands in 1998, and the current owner is the third owner in the Netherlands. During the time the car has been in the Netherlands, it has undergone extensive overhaul and restoration work on several occasions. In 2000, an extensive technical overhaul was performed at Kolvenbach Jaguar Specialist, followed in 2010/11 by a new service during which a new convertible top in blue Sonnenland with a softtop frame that was installed by De Bruijn Upholstery. Subsequently, at Lex Classics, a five-speed gearbox, Coopercraft brake calipers, 123 electronic ignition, a high-torque starter, and an aluminum radiator with a Kenlowe fan were installed. The beautiful competition-style wide chrome-spoke rims were also fitted here, along with the beautiful 215/70/15 Vredestein sprint classic tires. The second part of the restoration consisted of installing a full leather interior in a beautiful gray color, carried out by Peter van Egmond. The result is fantastic! Finally, in 2020, a stainless steel exhaust system was installed at EPS, producing a rich, full sound. Regular maintenance has been performed by us, and the car is in top condition.
Thanks to the many modifications and the way this car has been maintained, it is a Jaguar that is ideally suited for long road trips and rallies, and—thanks to the hardtop—can also be used comfortably in the autumn and spring season. When installing the hardtop, it is not necessary to remove the soft top. A comprehensive file is available, containing numerous invoices and documentation, as well as a recent appraisal report from 2024 valuing the car at 175,000 euros.
