Current bid $25,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar E Type V12 Roadster in Regency Red with Black leather and Black soft top. 4 speed, chrome wire wheels. Odo 32,277. Recent restoration. This car is in immaculate condition. Excellent rust free body with virtually unmarked paint. Pefect interior and top. Superb mechanically - drives exactly as they should.

The story - we purchased seven E Types from a larger collection of cars that belonged to a big Southern California home builder. The E Types have been restored to a very high level - I can only estimate the costs but I believe a conservative estimate is between $70,000 to $100,000 per car. There are no records or receipts - these cars were part of a large settlement - multiples millions I am told. These are very special cars and appear to have had pretty much everything rebuilt/replaced: paint, chrome, interior, top, engine rebuilt, brakes, steering, wire wheels, etc etc.

Drive it or collect it - you can't go wrong.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
