56,731 MILES, ON EBAY 08/08, DEALER WRITES: 1973 Jaguar XKE Roadster V-12 4 speed manual transmission. Numbers matching car with 56,000 miles that has been sitting for several years. Motor turns over fine, pops on either, we did not try to clean the carbs but they are not frozen. Exterior paint faded but straight, very solid and fairly rust free, interior still in good useable condition.Rear window torn. A very good light project car. Buyer pays shipping. Questions please email me at: forzamot@aol.com or call 860-350-1140. I will post more photos on my web site soon: www.forzamotorsports.com Thank you for looking at my auction. Listing this for a friend. Car is located in Westchester County New York about 40 miles north of New York City.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
