    Ebay item 9/4/05
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1973-Jaguar-E-Type-Series-III-V-12-Roadste ...
Current bid $10,201, no reserve, 3 bids, 8 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
This is a beautiful two-seater roadster with the lusty V-12. Sexy red with black leather interior. 4-speed manual transmission. Chrome wheels. No A/C. Original tools but no jack. All numbers match the Jaguar tag (ie. original engine, gearbox etc).

All original with no botched modifications!!

Bumpers and chrome and all trim appears to be complete and in good condition. All glass and lights are in excellent condition. Interior is in very good shape. Seats have obviously been recovered at some point with a top quality kit. The top is almost new with no rips or tears. A flat tonneau cover is included. NO RUST on upper body or in trunk. Body has been repainted at least once and looks very nice in a proper Jaguar bright red.Mileage shows 29,417 but is probably 129,417.

    Now the bad:
Just plucked from retired mechanics garage and at least a 2 year slumber. Engine does not run... and have not dared to try, but does turn over easily (with plugs removed). Should probably be rebuilt to be safe. Floors and battery tray have some rust. The subframes appear to be solid and rust-free. Tires have lots of tread but some uneven wear.

    Excellent candidate for ground-up restoration!

The best color combination! Complete car that can be bought at a very reasonable price. If you have the time and money to do some floor repairs or want to do a ground-up restoration, this car can be worth $50-80,000 when finished. And because I dion't have the time, space or money, you can buy this car cheap and work on her over the winter. Car is stored indoors and has been most of its life.

Car is located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada (an hour north of Buffalo) and can be shipped anywhere (at Buyer's expense). Can be imported into U.S.A. (or elsewhere) easily and cheaply.
