Sellers description:
E-type Jaguar, 1971 FHC

This fabulous project Jag that ran fine last year is a coupe, not a 2+2.

I say fabulous because after restoring five E-types, this one has the straightest body I have seen. Someone did a little body work and got it ready to paint before I bought it 2 years ago. Its been kept in my heated shop since. There is a little rust in the usual Jag places, but that's it.

A local mechanic had it running last year and all it needed then was a fuel tank. There is a used replacement tank that goes with the car. All the electrics worked last year, which again, is the last time it was running. The clutch is squishy now from sitting and may just need fluid. It will need a battery and fuel tank installed to hit the road again.

The seats are fine for a driver quality, but it needs carpet and headliner. Looks like all the chrome and bumpers are there too.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
