Sellers description:
Up for auction is a 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 4.2 liter automatic coupe with factory A/C. This car has been owned by a very enthusiastic Jaguar family for the last 35 years. The car has spent most of that time in storage. This car was originally British Racing Green but later changed to the Jaguar Sable Brown it is currently painted. The interior is the original tan leather which is showing its age. This car is missing the radio and radio conosle. The transmission had been overhauled sometime around 20 years ago as well as some engine work. This car is in need of some work to make driveable. The brake system needs a complete overhaul and the power steering needs some work. Thes are typical things for a car this age. The car has some rust issues as many of these older E-types have. All in all this car could be made a nice driver.
