Sellers description:
Bought in 1967 with about 8-9K miles on it. It hasn't been driven since 86'. This car is in very good overall condition. No rust or accidents it has good bones. Can be turned into a driver fairly easily or a very good restoration. It needs weather stripping, hydraulics for the clutch, and flushing out of the gas tank. I started it in April 16'. It started right up with no problems and 50+ psi of oil pressure. It's been in a garage and covered since buying in 67'. I'm helping my aunt with sale of her baby.

Le Jaguar Type E a ete fabriquer pour le marché nord-américain, c'est une voiture de sport britannique fabriquée par Jaguar Cars Ltd entre 1961 et 1975.
Sa combinaison de beauté et sa haute performance a établi le modèle comme une icône du monde de l'automobilisme. Vitesse maximale de 150 m / h (E), accélération sous-7 secondes 0 à 60 km / h, construction monocoque, freins à disque, direction à crémaillère avant et arrière indépendants.
La suspension a distingué la voiture et a stimulé les changements dans l'ensemble de l'industrie automobile.
Le Type E était basé sur la voiture de course Type D de Jaguar, qui avait gagné les 24 Heures du Mans trois années consécutives à partir de 1955, Moteur boulonné directement sur le chassis
