    Hi,
I think I purchased an Jag 1956 XK140 DHC from you many many years ago, 1978 to be exact . We lived in Van Nuys Ca. at the time. It was in need of restoration. It was black with black top. Was that you? It took us many years to restore but finally finished in 2009. It is stunning you can see it on XKdata enter car # A818830 to see it.

    Thanks,
    Melinda

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
