1963 (RARE) Jaguar XKE Series 1 Coupe Primer Grey / Red&Black Leather Interior The car is a 1963 Series1 car covered headlights car with original body panels ready for restoration. This car came from Alabama and I found it in Texas. This car was in a restoration shop for over 8 years and the owner never came back for it. This car has not been restored. The Series 1 are the most sought after and are drying up. This car does not have the 3.8L drive train with it right now. It is being shipped and will be included in the sale. It will two weeks before it is here. The head is matching number so is the block. The car is missing the triple carb set up and all the carbs. The car comes with so many Series One parts it will blow you away. All the Chrome has been redone is still wrapped up from the Chrome Shop. The car comes with boxes of parts from oil filters - original radio. The car's rear end will be on the car before shipping and will be a rolling chassis. The car is missing some parts. The Windshield is gone. I do have the side glass. The rear hatch is wrong but you will get it anyway (It is from a V12). The body is 100% Rust free and is Solid and original. The Bonnet needs some blocking and this car is ready for paint. The pans are Solid! The car ID# is as follows: Chassis No: 888982 Body No: V6183 Engine No: RA2778-9 Gear Box: EB1092615 The car has a Texas Title (Good for Export). The car needs restoration.

Engine/gear box rebuilt by Hutson/UK (full documentation). New electrical system/wires/lights/indicators, complete interior, chrome, Dayton wheels, brake system, radiator/fan, suspension, fuel system and tank, stainless steel big bore manifold/exhaust system, floors, bearings/bushes, Motolita steering wheel and much more. All parts that has not been replaced has been refurbished.

Upgrades: Aluminum high performance radiator, Kenlowe fan, 4 pot brake calibers, GAZ adjustable shocks, high torque starter, upgraded steering rack, front reaction plate for adjustable ride height, 1-2-3 Electronic ignition, uprated alternator, big bore manifold/exhaust system, SU air intakes, seats lowered to accommodate persons up to 192cm.

All upgrades are bolt-on and can easily be replaced with original parts if desired.

The car is in better-than-new condition. It drives extremely well and is very reliable and useable due to the many valuable upgrades. Clear wax for protection against corrosion has been applied to internal/hidden panels. Too much work has been done to list here so please mail for all details.
