This 1963 Jaguar XKE Series 1 coupe was built on March 21, 1963 and is powered by a numbers-matching 3.8-liter DOHC inline-six paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. The car is finished in black over beige and was acquired by the current owner in May 1968 from Nick Ciliberti Pontiac of Kutztown, Pennsylvania. It was refurbished by Archer Racing Accessories of Duluth, Minnesota, in 2003. The selling dealer is offering this XKE on behalf of the current owner. It is located in Wisconsin and is sold with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, original purchase documents, partial service records, and a clean Minnesota title.
This example is finished in its factory shade of black, and close-up photos of the paint and lenses are provided. The seller notes a blemish on the front passenger side of the vehicle.
Chrome 15” wire wheels are equipped with two-eared knock-off spinners and Michelin X radial tires.
Beige fixed-back seats are complemented with matching carpets and door panels. A stock wood-rimmed steering wheel and push-button radio are equipped, while aluminum trim accents the dash and center console. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 89k miles.
Under the front-hinged hood is a 3.8L inline-six equipped with triple SU carburetors. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. Receipts documenting mechanical refreshment by Archer Racing Accessories are included in the sale.
Engine block stamping RA1460-9 matches the cylinder head stamping, chassis plate, and Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate lists a manufacture date of March 21, 1963 and confirms the factory colors as well as the chassis, engine, and body numbers.
A handful of photos, purchase documents, and previous registration cards from its longterm current owner are included in the sale.
