I just looked at the car tonight. It is for sale in Pittsburgh. It needs an almost total restoration. It runs when prompted with ether. Some rust in sills. No rust in trunk/boot or bonnet. Very little interior left. No tools or jack. Engine seemed complete and original to the car. Brakes are all bad. Fuel system bad.

I bought this E-Type last week. I have changed the fluids and the car runs well. Working on front brakes. A very nice restoration project that will be for sale on E-Bay soon. Dan

Ebay item 11/5/13
www.ebay.com/itm/161140010419
Opening bid GBP 19,600, 14 bids 4 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Sellers description:
For sale 1963 Jaguar E-type Series One 3.8 Fixed Head Coupe.
Original left hand drive car; now UK registered as in the photographs all the paperwork is complete with UK V5C.
Jaguar Heritage Certificate is also included showing a matching numbers car; apart from the gearbox which has been changed at some point.
Requires a full restoration with only some parts missing and a lot of the panels are supplied as in the pictures.
Missing from the pictures are the new inner sills.
The new outer sills are on the car for photographs only - still to be welded in place.
Floor panels are still required and are the only major parts I still had left to buy for the bodyshell.
The bonnet only needs stripping as it is in very good second-hand condition and the offside door is new (also on the car).
Near side door is also very good second hand condition (no rust) and the two original doors are also supplied.
The body has very good panel gaps all round, the bodyshell is just right to restore.

For sale at Runnymeade Motor Company of Stoke Poges. 1963 E Type FHC just rebuilt to pre 1963 specification with steel bonnet, triple SU's, competition wire wheels and conversion to right hand drive. Painstakingly prepared by Wren Classics to the highest standard to compete in Carol Spragg's Pre 63 GT series.
The car is perfect throughout. It has a Sigma Engineering Peter Landers 3.8 litre race engine producing around 320bhp and the gearbox has straight cut gears. The car is completely ready for the 2016 season and will be very competitive in the right hands. The price, which is considerably les than the build cost is £125,000.
