Sellers comment:
Up for auction is a 1963 Jaguar XKE. This car has been stored inside for over twenty years by third owner. The 3.8litre inline 6-cylinder engine is in good running condition and has the special gold head. It has a 4 speed, also in good condition. The rear end is out of car but is in good condition. It needs new rear end mounts. Bonnet has some damage. Second bonnet included for parts. Two will make one good one. Glass and Chrome rings over headlamps are missing. Some rust in rear quarters and some rust on floor panels. A few minor dings as can be seen in picture. Seats are vinyl and in good condition. This car comes with many extra parts so when you figure in shipping please allow for a two extra pallets of parts. THIS CAR DESERVES A FULL RESTORATION. Color is yellow, interior is Brown and the title is a clear Oregon title. The miles shown on the odometer are 11849. We assume it is 111849 miles.

I am selling this for the owner who will be putting several of his prize possessions on auction. He drove this car personally for over 40,000 miles. Did I mention this car is FAST!!!!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
