This car was a "Personal Export Delivery" to a Mr. Winnigan. Most likely he shipped it home to the US after a trip through the UK and maybe other countries in Europe.
In the 1980's it was owned by a Mr. Couture in Canada from there is went to France in 1990 and later to the Netherlands where it was restored. On June 05 - 2011 I attended the 50 th. anniversary celebration of the E-Type at the Dune Circuit of Zandvoort with this car. Still going strong.
