Sellers description:
This car underwent a complete and total restoration in New York in 1991. When finished, it was a show car and has won many prizes. This car was restored to prefection. The engine compartment is detailed to like new condition. The interior is exactly as new. The underside looks show room new. The paint is flawless (except where the hard top has made a small scratch). Having a hard top for a Series1 is very rare. All glass and stainless trim are like new. The car has a black Hartz cloth top and boot. All weather stripping and gaskets are new or like new. The tires are the only non-original equipment on the vehicle. They are Pirelli radials for safety and better ride.
I bought this car in 2001 and used it as a show car and then put $23,000 to turn it into a road car. That's the greatest thing about this car is driving it. We have records of all maintenance back to 1992. The car had 91,710 miles at restoration. Today we have 94,156. This car is as close to number 1 condition (97) as possible, even after being on the road.
