Car to be at auction 5/14
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:
Lot 125 - 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8 Litre Roadster
Estimate: €90,000 - €110,000
Registration Number: EU Taxes Paid
Chassis Number: 880598

Upon arrival from the USA this car has been the subject of a restoration including a mechanical rebuild. Finished in the stunning and iconic shade of British Racing Green with light tan hide interior over a matching mohair hood, this delightful 3.8 e-type sits on chrome wire wheels.

A beautifully detailed example of the much sought after early E-Type roadster in LHD form, making this a thoroughly enjoyable and usable classic on Europe's roads.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
