Very interesting history on this car. Sold new in SF area. Stolen in 1966-7, found missing doors and bonnet. Bought by person who planned to restore car. Owner was hit while in his back yard by car crashing through fence and paralyzed. The car sat for many years and was eventually walled into car port due to upgrades on the house. Car found and sold to Dave Ferguson of Images AutoBody after wall torn down to get it out of car port. Very nice car with only 6,000 miles. Dave restored the car and sold it to a Canadian in1999 or so at Barrett-Jackson auction. It was returned a few years later, freshened up again and sold at Christies auction at Pebble Beach in 2002 to its present owner. Now lives near LA with 59,999 miles on speedo.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
