According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, this Jaguar E Type S1 3.8 Roadster is a 'matching numbers' car and was manufactured on 18th September 1962 and despatched to Jaguar Distributor Peter Lindner in Frankfurt, Germany on 4th October 1962 and supplied to its first owner - Lieutenant N W Cunningham later that month.

It was imported back to the UK in 1999 and was fully restored and converted to RHD by Swallow Engineering in Essex in 2005.

It is finished in its original colour of Carmen Red but now has Black trim rather than its original Dark Blue, new Black Mohair Soft Top, Black leather Seats, Black Carpets, 3.8 Litre straight Six Engine, 4 Speed Moss Gearbox and Chrome Wire Wheels.

The car has covered a believed genuine 62,000 miles from new, but it has only covered 5,000 miles since the Engine was rebuilt at 57,000 miles by Swallow Engineering. During the last owners tenure since 2011 it has been further improved with new Gas shock absorbers, new suspension bushes and ball joints, new steering column and steering rack, new Brake Discs and pads, new Hi-Torque Starter Motor, uprated Alternator and lots more.

The car also has a Cobra 'Tracker' fitted plus a Stereo/CD player and a new original specification 15" wooden Steering Wheel.

More information and photographs to follow upon completion of our showroom preparation.

Car on display @ our showrooms in Mortlake.
