Ebay item 7/1/08
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-1963-JAGUAR-JAGUAR-E-TYPE-ROADSTE ...
Opening bid $9,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 4 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1963 Jaguar E-Type Roadster
Excellent restoration project
- 1963 Jaguar E-Type Roadster, VIN# 877202
- 5,000 miles (may not be accurate, but it is a very low mile car)
- Stored for 30 years
- Very restorable

Has very little rust. This car has blown engine which was lost over the years at the machine shop. The owner decided to install a Mustang engine in this Jag. Note: the engine mounts have been welded to the side members, but we have a pair of excellent used sub-frames with the car, so you could replace these to install the proper engine.

We also have a 1963 engine & transmission, complete that will go with this car.

Note in the pictures, 90% of all parts are with the car; whatever parts are missing can be purchased at a reasonable price from Welsh Enterprises.

- Original chrome wheels!
- Original spare wheel & tire!
- Rear fenders have been flared as on a V-12 E (easy to change back).
- Original stop lamps are with the car, just re-install with a simple cut over where the original owner modified the back.

Car is undergoing complete ground up restoration. All modifications have been reversed. It is actually a 1962 car. Does anyone know where the engine or block is. Wish to purchase.

Hello

I know the whereabouts of your original engine and gearbox. Please contact me with proof that you are proper owner.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
