Completed on April 14, this car was part of Tommy Sopwith's Endeavour team. It was raced to victory by Graham Hill, as well as competing in other races. Registration was ECD 400. It is reported to survive, and to have been restored in the late seventies or mid-eighties. This car was one of the seven RHD roadsters prepped at the factory for racing on the Project Specification ZP537/24 project.

The original CR gearbox fitted to this car is owned by Tim Snowden in Harrogate Yorkshire I have seen it at Tims garage. Tim’s Bros. Mark operates www.NorthernJaguar.com the Jaguar E-type and XK parts and car sales shop.
ECD400 now has another moss box fitted which its had since 62. This gearbox came out of ECD400 - 850005 and then went into UPM400 - 850018 when Sopwith was racing that in 62. It later came out of that car and is now in Tim’s garage. It's all documented in UPM400’s history file. Would be nice to re-unite them.
