Very clean, original, low mileage E Type that came into our restoration shop at XKs Unlimited. We started the project and the owner ran out of funds so it is for sale at a bargin price.
Here is what has been done:
All body work done. Car was a solid rust free car with no major damage. It has been primed and preped for paint. Ready to spray.
All major exterior chrome has been re-plate
Front suspension and brakes have been rebuilt. New ball joints, bushings, cad plating, brake pistons and seals, new rotors, new wheel bearings and seals, new tie rod ends...No chocks
Rear suspension and brakes have been rebuilt. (photo show IRS during rebuild, but will be complete when car is picked up) New oil seals, new wheel beraings and seals, new U-joints, new a-arm bearings and seals, new mounts and trailing arm bushes, new rotors, rebuilt calipers, no shocks.
Motor has been test run on our stand. Very good compression and oil pressure. Engine has been re-sealed and painted
Sale inlcludes a complet new interior kit with all leather, foams and pads to rebuild seats, all new panels, carperts, headliner and restored dash top.
Car has excellent chrome wire wheels
Obviously still lots to do but you get a lot of work done and many new parts for basically the cost of the car. Clear California title.
