1970 Jaguar XKE Coupe 4.2L 2 Owners California Car
We recently acquired this wonderful all numbers matching, top driver quality example in classic British Racing Green with Biscuit interior. The second owner owned the car since 1975. If you ever had your doubts about the performance of an E-type you need to drive this one. From the moment you enter the door and slip into the supple leather seats to the sound of the 4.2 liter, triple SU carbureted engine coming to life you'll know your in a true thoroughbred. The car slides smoothly into gear, the engine pulls strong right up to 5000 rpm and as each gear comes and goes flawlessly you get the sensation of what it was like to drive real machines in from a lost era. This car handles with nimble ease and comes to a stop as on a dime. The interior has been completely restored to factory specifications. The undercarriage is as strong as new and shows no signs of rust. Only 2 owners had the pleasure to have this car in their garages and both lived in California. Weather you're looking for an exciting toy to take on weekend rallies or an investment sure to explode in value this car fits the bill. Jaguar Heritage Certificate comes with the car as well!

Beautiful, well-cared-for 1971 Jaguar E-Type FHC coupe. British Racing Green, 4-speed transmission, matching numbers, retrofitted with AC, wire wheels. Biscuit leather interior, wood steering wheel, satellite radio. Comes with original tools, original manual. The twin Stromberg carburetors were replaced with 3 SUs.
I am the second owner of this car. The original owner had it for 40 years until his death. His son inherited it and didn't want it, so he sold it to a classic car dealer, from whom I purchased it in 2012. Since then it has been in my air-conditioned garage when not in use. This car is in remarkable condition.

This 1971 Jaguar XKE is a Series II coupe that was previously owned by two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk and was acquired by the seller in 2017.
