Registered in August 1974, this Roadster version of the iconic Jaguar E-Type is presented in the original manufacturer colour of Sable with a black leather interior. The stunning looks of this car are matched by its mechanics. When requested this handsome Jaguar fired into life without hesitation. This is no surprise as this permanently garaged car comes with a file containing various invoices including specialist bills totalling £8,000 between 2011 and 2013. Although exempt from the test by age, KHP 471N has just passed an MoT and is offered to auction with a certificate valid until August 2021. Also present are over 20 years of previous MoT test certificates, a Jaguar Heritage Trace Certificate, various photographs of works completed and both the current and previous V5C registration documents. One of these, interestingly, shows that Bev Bevan, the world famous drummer of ELO and Black Sabbath fame, was a former owner. Sensibly estimated and ready to use, this Jaguar E-Type is a great example of British engineering and styling.
