Opening bid $25,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1969 Jaguar E Type 4.2 Series II Roadster in Regency Red with Black leather.
We recently purchased seven E-Type roadsters from a collection and all of them were restored to an unusually high level 6 were V12's (now sold) this is the only 6 cylinder and I would guess the one he drove. It has 9000 odd miles on the odo and I'd think that's about right in terms of wear since restoration. Very clean, straight & rust free body with virtually perfect paint. Interior has high quality leather seats, perfect soft top, etc. Mechanically, runs superbly with lots of power, great gearbox with good syncros, we just fitted a clutch, good brakes and steering. This isn't the typical driver series II - it's a much better car than you'd expect - most owners would restore a series I at roughly the same restoration cost but with higher finished value. Drive it or collect it - you can't go wrong! Inspections encouraged.
