I have a nice hobby and make some
real good friends this way also after my
children left home. (Two boys) I m not a
collector but I just have been buying my
second one from Canada, a very early one
(1961 with "outside bonnet lock"). I think
there are just 3 or 4 of them i Sweden that
old.(LHD OTS)

The 1R 13522 is just painted after "sandblastring" to bear metall. New zink and
crom. All matching numbers: Engine: 7R 12550-9, Boddy: 4R 8225, Gearbox:
KE 13343, Sold by Jaguar Germany: "Peter Lindner, Frankfurt. Export to USA after
a "drive" around Europa. Inported to Sweden june 2001. Only 29,000 miles.
Just now under restoration, I try to "save" as much as posible (not rusty boddy-parts)
I am not an "expert" but I try to restor after the "book" and lots of good tips at internet!
This is a nice hobby for me and I will try to have my first drive next year with the car,
I just brought a E-type OTS LHD with welded louvers and outside latchers and are
seeing forvard to get it home.
Tank You for a good page and I will try to send some photo of the 1R 13522.

Ebay item 11/7/19

www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Jaguar-E-Type/401947252203

Current bid:S $9,000.00 Reserve not met 8 bids 2 days left in auction seller nicaihresko0, car now said to be in Nice, France, previously Malmo, Sweden, 29k miles.

Seller's description:

I have a very nice Jaguar E-type for sale. Totally restored 3 years ago. Many parts new, or restored. Paint is professionally done and is awesome from every angle. No scratches or dents, perfect fitting all around. Chrome is like new.

Interior seems to be original but is in a good condition.

Mechanically perfect. Runs and drives as it should and the engine pulls strong. Brakes are perfect.

Send me an email if you want more photos, film or info of this gorgeous Jaguar E type.

The car is located in southern France, close to Monaco. But I will help you ship this car all over the world. I have done it many times before and know exactly how it works, and it´s not hard or expensive so don't let that be an issue for you to bid on this very nice Jaguar XKE.

The car was red before, and it is registrated in Malmo, Sweden. Now it is located in south of France

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
