Car to be at auction 5/15
Auction description:
Lot 214 - 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II 4.2 Litre Roadster
Estimate: £60,000 - £70,000
Registration Number: KRH 658H
Chassis Number: 1R11141
Always a dry-state car, this stunning Roadster was bought by the current owner directly from Texas. Since being repatriated, it has benefitted from much restoration work. The body was stripped of paint, two new doors were fitted, and then everything carefully repainted. New chrome bumpers have been fitted, as have new chrome wire wheels. The seat and hood frames were painted, and a complete new interior fitted by the well known firm of Aldridge Trimming. The interior work was detailed and covered new seats, hood, carpets and tonneau cover.
Described by the vendor, a serious Jaguar collector, as being in excellent condition all round, KTH 658H is a wonderful example and an opportunity not to be missed.
