Current bid US $5,750, no reserve, 4 bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This is what I believe to be a 1968 1.5 series 2+2 Coupe judging from the vin number and what I could find on the Jag forums. It is a 4.2 engine with dual carbs, It has a standard 4 gear transmission. This car was a started restoration project. The car is rust free!! There has been a few panels replaced from what I can tell. The stickers are still on them. The car is what I would call 90% complete. It might be 100%?? I'm just being conservative in case I missed something. All the glass is there and good except the windshield has a crack. I no nothing about the engine except that its there and a bit grimey and turns over. The tranny shifts and turns freely. The drive line looks rebuilt. I was told that the rear end was gone through. It looks nice and has recent paint on it so I would believe it to be true. The front suspension looks to have been rebuilt also. new bushings, tie rod ends cv boots brakes and so on. The seats and interior appear to all be there along with lots of chrome and stainless trim. This car comes with bags and boxes of parts! I will put pics up of everything. If you don't see it ask me and I will dig and look and send pics.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
