Ebay item 10/15/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Jaguar-E-type-Coupe-Great-Original-Car_W0Q ...
Current bid $8,100 reserve not met, 7 bids, 5 days left in auction. 121k miles.
Sellers description:
This is a very original '67 E-Type Coupe. It still has its original Calif. black plates, and is entirely rust free, with exception of a very small separation at the bottom of the driver's door. Other than this it has never had any rust, even in the typical places such as floor footwells and sills. The car appears to have never been hit, as even the very front of the bonnet area is completely bondo free. All the gaps are near-perfect and doors do not sag in the least. Mechanically, the car is exceptional, with great oil pressure, compression, no smoke and a great sound coming from a new exhaust system. Engine is smooth and powerful, trans has perfect synchromesh, brakes are solid and front end is tight. A great running driving car. Interior is all original, with leather seats that are still supple. Also just newly installed is a complete new set of 6" Dayton chrome wire wheels with with Vogue Turbospeed 205/'70/ 15 radials. Cosmetically the car does need paint, rubber, and some chrome. A very good candidate for a quick cosmetic restoration, or just drive as is.

I bought this car in 2010 from a private individual - I have had all the chrome replated and the drivers door reskinned - It drives perfectly and is a great example of a tight unrestored E type coupe
