I've had this car since 76 (from original owner). I hope to drive her this summer (2004).

Car is finally on the road after a 22 year restoration. I've owned the car since 1976 and bought it from original owner.

As one of the volunter site admins, I think you for updating your car's status page but could you please complete the listing with the other numbers (engine, gearbix, and body numbers) off of the black & silver data plate?

Also we would be more than happy to host some photos of the extended restoration and the completed car as it now sits. If all you have are hard copy photos and you need help scanning some in let us know. We might be able to work something out.

I've modified the headlamps to Series 1 configuration with a 'kit' I developed myself. Always willing to share know-how with other 1 1/2 'rs.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
