Sellers description:
This special car has only had three owners. It is a very straight and original car; it has always been properly stored and has never rusted. It runs and drives wonderfully, and looks great. As a "Series 1 1/2" it has the most desirable details of the Series I cars: toggle switches, three carbs (but not covered headlights), plus it has the desirable 4.2 liter engine without smog control. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition and all recent work was conducted by Ragtops & Roadsters including: new clutch, new brake master cylinder, servo and lines, and many new gaskets. The car was repainted some time ago and the paint is showing some minor age. The interior is in excellent condition. The leather and carpets show very little wear. The new top has slight damage (mice (the nasty critters) chewed three small holes in the top which should be a simple repair; however, the rear window is in perfect shape). The Ansa exhaust system roars nicely. Also included is a roll-bar with a mounted fire extinguisher, and many spare parts and manuals. This is a fun, great looking, sounding and running car that you can drive now enjoy. This E-Type has been wonderfully preserved and displays a very attractive patina but could easily be converted into a show winner.
