Hi! Does the JDHT certificate really say "Old English White"??? I can't believe it, but if it does, please upload a copy of it. AFAIK the name "Old English White" was not used by Jaguar prior to 1970 in the brochures, and all build sheets I have seen say "Cream" for this white. Also it would be great to know if that original reg. mark was a UK reg. mark or a New Jersey one?

Hello Pekka Thank you for pointing out, that the correct colour is Cream in stead of OEW - I have changed it now. Best regard Esben

Hi! No need to thank me, I'm glad if you now could confirm it this way. This colour name is sometimes a touchy subject, but I am always curious to see/know what it actually says on the build sheet/certificate. Do you know now if that "HVC 42 D" was a UK reg. number or New Jersey? please post pictures later of your lovely car. Cheers! Pekka T. 1E76372BW
