65 XKE OTS FOR RESTORATION. MATCHING NUMBERS. CHASSIS# 1E10691. THIS IS THE 691st 4.2 ROADSTER MADE! THE CAR IS SUCH AN EARLY 4.2 THAT IT STILL HAS THE LARGE GLASS WINDSHIELD WASHER BRACKET TO HOLD THE GLASS WINDSHIELD WASHER BOTTLE LIKE THE 3.8 CARS AS OPPOSED TO THE SMALLER PLASTIC ONE FOUND ON THE 4.2S! ENGINE WAS TAKEN APART AND CRANK MACHINED. PISTONS, RINGS, BEARINGS, ETC. ARE NORMALLY REPLACED IN A COMPREHENSIVE REBUILD AND ARE NOT PRESENT. ENGINE HAS BEEN PUT BACK IN CAR FOR EASE OF TRANSPORTATION.
