Ebay item 2/26/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-JAGUAR-E-TYPE-V-12-SUPERB-RESTORATION-/110653650148
Sellers description:
This car could be one of the best V/12 E-type Jaguars that has hit ebay in a long time. The car was to be sold at the RM auction at Amelia Island next month but missed the catalogue. A beautiful, rust free, well documented car, add to your collection or drive daily.
The ground up restoration of the automobile was done professionally 8 years ago. The car has been driven approximately 2000 miles since, but still shows extremely well. The silver paint is superb, and look better than most cars painted yesterday. There are no dings, rock chips, or other damage. The car is 100% rust free. The chrome is beautiful, all rubber is excellent, and mechanically the car is in excellent condition as well. The mileage is correct at 46,119.
The blue interior is the classic color combination, highlighting the silver exterior. The blue canvas soft top is as new, and the original black top boot is with the car. The car is classic with wire wheels, manual transmission, air conditioning, and original tools and jack.
The reserve is VERY reasonable, the car is priced to sell.
