Auction description:
Lot 218
1974 JAGUAR TYPE E V12 CABRIOLET
Châssis n° UE1S25480
- Legendary shape
- Engine rebuild in 2004
- V12 smoothness

Originally from the US, the E-type on offer was bought near Roche-Posay in France in 1998, by a cereal farmer with a passion for helicopters and old cars. In 2004 the engine had a €18,500 rebuild by Steel Motor Home in Puteaux, (invoices included in the file). The steering rack was overhauled at the same time. In British racing green with beige leather interior, it is complete with luggage rack and wire wheels, and a fitted Jaguar cover. Having used the car regularly in Paris, the owner has preferred to leave on the " banana " bumpers to prevent damage from the inevitable parking incidents. With summer arriving, here is the perfect chance to enjoy the weather, at the wheel of a legendary classic with a rebuilt engine. French title

Estimation 35 000 - 45 000 €
Sold for 45,997 €

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
