This 1974 Jaguar Series III E-Type has undergone a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration to the highest standards. Nothing was overlooked. It is finished in Sable with a Biscuit leather interior. The matching number 12 cylinder engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and the car is equipped with air-conditioning.

The paint is like glass and shines like new. There are no dents, dings, nicks or scratches. All of the chrome is "as new" including the bumpers, wheels, windshield frame, all bezels, mirrors, and all trim.

The interior is perfect including the seats, door panels, dash, console, carpet, floor mats, steering wheels, knobs, switches and all controls. There are no tears, rips or scuffs on any of the upholstered surfaces. All of the lettering on all of the controls is crisp. All of the chrome on the interior of the car is perfect including the door handles, hood release levers, mirror controls, window cranks, and all other trim. Every gauge, switch, lever, control, choke, emergency brake, and light operates properly right down to the clock. The original AM-FM-8 Track player has been replaced by an Alpine AM-FM-CD-Satellite Radio unit, but the original radio is included with the sale of the car.

The canvas convertible top is perfect as is the boot. There are no tears or scuffs. All of the chrome on the convertible top including the latches, the side trim, and the header trim is perfect. The rear window is clear and the top operates properly.

The trunk is trimmed flawlessly. Lifting the trunk mat reveals perfect wood trunk boards with perfect hardware. Lifting the trunk boards reveals a perfect spare tire (chrome wire wheel and Dunlop tire match those on the car) as well as the proper jack and related hardware. The spare tire well is spotless with no signs of rust.

The engine is a work of art. It is spotless with no leaks at all. It starts easily with no smoke or unusual sounds and quickly settles into a smooth idle. This is attributable to the replacement of the original carburetors with new polished SU carburetors which function much better than the original ones. All of the original parts have been retained and are included with the sale of the car.

The underside of the car, including the suspension, is as clean as the top. It is beautifully detailed including a new British made Falcon exhaust system.

This car is ready to be driven and enjoyed. It starts, drives, runs, shifts, and stops exactly as one would expect of a car that has been restored to these standards.
