Current bid $1,025 reserve not met, 2 bids, 6 days left in auction. 31k miles.

Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar XKE Series III V 12 roadster. This vehicle was purchased from the original owner whose health made the sale necessary. It has been stored in a climate controlled environment for several years and is rust free. It has a new battery, brake master cylinder and a coolant flush with new fresh coolant. It also has a new convertible top which was replaced due to discoloration of the plastic rear windows, along with several weather seals as needed. The carburetors were re-built 3 years ago. The vehicle has a Green Sand exterior with a tan leather interior, both in excellent condition. There has been some minor repair a refinish work on the left front corner of the bonnet (hood) and there are typical minor chipping and small dings consistent with normal usage.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
