Car to be at auction 5/7/07
www.wwgauctions.com/houston2007.cfm

Auction description:
Offered here is a stunning example of the culmination of the E-Type V-12's. Finished in a correct red exterior with tan leather interior, 23,796 is undoubtedly one of the finest 1974 E-Types available for purchase. Less than 60,000 original miles showed on the odometer as it headed to a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration to the highest of standards. It has been judged 99.76 at a national JCNA meet; the most rigorous test a Jaguar can sustain. In addition, it is an AACA National Senior and Grand National Award winner, Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance Best in Class, Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance Best in Class, and the Ocean Reef Club Concours Best in Show Award winner as well as numerous other awards.

It is no surprise to find that it is equipped with the desirable features of the four-speed manual transmission, factory air conditioning, power steering, chrome knock-off wire wheels, factory AM/FM radio, and the coveted tool roll.

LOT NUMBER: 90
ESTIMATE: $85,000 - $100,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
