This 1973 Jaguar E-Type V12 Manual Roadster, was subject to a £100,000 re-build at English Cars of Distinction in the late 90s. The chassis number appears to indicate that the car started off life as a LHD FHC before being converted. The car has 4 previous keepers recorded in the V5c, one of whom was the vendors father, and the car has only done about 5,000 miles since. There is a DVD of the work done on the car, showing it being re-built on a jig, and virtually every panel including the bonnet seems to have been replaced. There are also invoices for in excess of £15,000 for various work done after the re-build, mostly Main Dealer invoices. Although he restoration was some time ago, because it has been used so little and stored so carefully, the car remains in excellent condition, and is only being sold because the vendor finds he uses it less frequently than it deserves.
